During life we may experience difficulties, struggles and loss and I truly believe this is what makes us beautiful. As we learn to find our way through these trials, we may seek support through counseling, and I understand the strength and courage it takes to do this. I respect the vulnerability it takes to venture on this path and look forward to offering you support through this process.

On this journey of emotional healing and recovery I love seeing the progression one experiences as they show up and commit to working through life’s difficulties. These difficulties often leave us feeling helpless, isolated, and overwhelmed. As we unpack the trauma, anger, pain, and loss, you will learn tools for healing, growth, and living authentically by transforming the way you connect with yourself and others. We will walk down this path at your pace while using all the tools I can offer including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization, and Reprocessing (EMDR), neurofeedback and many more to find the process that works best for you no matter your circumstances.

I’m passionate about working with people who have experienced trauma. This may include abuse such as narcissistic, relational, and childhood. I am also passionate about working with people who experience PTSD, neglect, betrayal, attachment wounds, and relationship issues. I enjoy helping with ADHD, overcoming pornography or sex addictions, depression, stress, anxiety, and emotional regulation.

I completed my undergraduate work at Brigham Young University and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Ottawa University with a specialty in trauma, abuse, and deprivation. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of Arizona and am a National Certified Counselor by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), have been EMDRIA trained to practice EMDR, and use neurofeedback to help alleviate symptoms. In addition to my training, I also bring a fair amount of life experience including being a military wife, mother of three teenagers, and serving in my community. My emphasis on quality counseling is based on professional training and is continually being expanded through ongoing involvement in the continuing education process through seminars, research, supervision, networking with other professionals, and personal reading and study. I am committed to finding the tools that work best for you, no single technique is right for everyone. I will implement various techniques and tools in a manner specifically tailored to your needs as an individual, couple, and family unit. I look forward to working with you in the future.
